The Usui system of Natural Healing

ReiKi is a natural healing method thousands of years old that heals on all level:  physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  ReiKi is Universal Life Force energy, that which sustains life and promotes healing in all living things.  ReiKi Practitioners are channels for this powerful healing energy.

ReiKi is energy from Spirit/God and is an extremely powerful healing energy.  It does not conflict with any other health care, but rather enhances it's results.  It does not interfere with traditional medicine, but facilitates benefits.  ReiKi speeds the healing process and provides a source of restoring energy while one is ill, under medical treatment or in recovery.

ReiKi is a pure energy form.  When it is combined with the sincere desire of the healee, who is willing to effect a cleansing within their emotional and spiritual consciousness, a total healing can occur.

DEFINITION

ReiKi is Holistic in effect. It is experienced as a subtle flow of energy emanating from the hands, palms and fingers when placed on the body. ReiKi may be experienced as warmth or strong heat, as coolness or chill, tingling, pulsating or vibrations.

Rei - means 'Universal' and refers to the spiritual dimension of the soul.

Ki - means 'The vital life force energy that flows through all living things'

When combined, it's meaning is "Universal Life Force Energy"  A laying on of hands healing technique, thousands of years old, it is thought to have originated in Tibet.
